My 12 yr old daughter recently died fe a Tylenol (arthritis) overdose. I didn't know, and when explained the dangers of Tylenol, I was shocked. Cause, you know, it's the number one trusted household pain reliever.

You wanna know what my child, who never hurt anyone, said bad things and was a straight a student went thru, I'll tell you exactly what I witnessed and was told up until I was told she had passed. It's worse than what am inmate on death row would.feel.

It's still unclear howany as we are waiting for the report..but after finding out on her phone, it was taken on a Saturday evening. We were all having upset tummies so in fairness we thought nothing of it. But she continued to vomit throughout the night. Next day, she felt and looked normal, but about 24 hours after she apparently took them, she complained of extreme stomach pains. She would only Yelp in pain as we were approaching her, and given she often over exaggerated this was not a.concern..she had not eaten so I forced gaterade and she ate a few crackers..and went to bed. Remember..this is only 24 hours

Next morning she was downstairs and acted EXACTLY the same as if she were sleep walking again. I walked her back upstairs and she went to sleep. This was 36 hours in.

5 hours later…she's in complete psychosis..can't sit up..notakimg sense…at this point I called 911. .now given the situation..and her usual reactions to pain I had no concerns, also I had no idea. This was around 11am on aonday..she had taken the Tylenol around 630on the sat according to her phone.

At the hospital she was out to lunch..not making sense .complaining she can't see…her body temp wouldn't warm up..she was tied down cause she was out of control. And still in psychosis. After tests, her pH level was so acidic every pump they the heart her blood was killing her. Her veins were literally dissolving. And the stomach aches..well, her liver was failing. Not to mention her kidneys were now failing too. Not a awesome feeling Lemme tell you. By 1pm..seizure and full cardiac arrest. 20mins later they got her heart to beat

2pm..same thing, and again at 230. She was so fragile that they were afraid to rush her to a children's hospital..however somehow they managed. She was also in a coma.

4pm…not quite 3 days into this situation. Cardiac arrest yet again. We're told another done would be a waste of time as she was already brain dead, and all of her organs at this point were non repairable.

I had to sit there and literally wait for my daughter to die.

So..roughly 3 days it took o f sheer pain before it killed her. Every medication in my house is locked up..except Tylenol. I knew it harms the liver..but to be so fatal is something I would have never in my life expected.

Apparently 2hours or roughly right after your throwing up..the damage you've done to your body is irreversible.

So that's the rest of the story that hasn't been told past the point when you lucky ones got to go home
